What if I forgot my username or email?
Help with your username and email address details.
Your username is the one you chose when you first signed up to Plusnet broadband and set up your online Plusnet broadband account. You’ll find this in any emails, letters or bills we send you.
Your Plusnet broadband login username is between 5-16 characters and contains only letters and numbers. The first two characters will always be letters.

Line speed also known as the sync rate is the rate at which data is transmitted over the Internet.
It applies to customers who’ve got a package with a landline. You can check your line speed by logging into our router and look for your 'sync rate'. This varies depending on our router.
It can change over time and each time you reboot our router.
When you signed up, you’ll have used an email address.
Your email address is the one you use to receive your bills and other communications from us.
Got a Plusnet email address? Don’t forget our email service is moving to a new supplier called Greenby.

What if I've forgotten my password?

When you signed up with us, we sent a welcome email or letter containing an automatic password. We'll have then prompted you to change it. Your password's the one you then chose yourself.
Don’t forget your Plusnet account password is between 8-16 characters and is case sensitive.
It might contain letters (upper and lowercase), numbers and characters such as . / : ; > = < ? @ [ ] ^ _ ` { | } ~
If you've forgotten it, no problem, you can easily do a password reset:
- Enter your broadband username or email address
- We’ll send you a password reset link to your account email address
- Click the link and choose a new password
- Remember your account password must be between 8-16 characters long
- It might contain letters (upper and lowercase), numbers and these special characters . / : ; > = < ? @ [ ] ^ _ ` { | } ~

Unless you got your router before July 2009, you don’t need to do anything. Our router does all the hard work for you. All you need to do is plug it in.
If you do have a router from before July 2009:
- Your broadband router username will be your username, with an extra bit on the end. The bit on the end will depend on who provides your service. If you've forgotten your broadband router username you can find it in the Connection Details section of the Member Centre.
- Your broadband password is the same as your online broadband account password.
- If it's your password you can't remember fill out our forgotten password form and we'll send you details on how to reset it.

Logging in when you’ve got multiple accounts under one email address.
What if I’ve more than one Plusnet account with the same email address?
If you’ve more than one account with Plusnet and you’ve used the same email address for these, then you'll have to use your username to access your accounts as they’re unique.
If you've forgotten the usernames for your multiple accounts, we can send them to you by email.
Just enter the email address into the log in page.
When presented with the error message 'Email address linked to multiple accounts', select the link send them to you by email.

When the ‘Username request’ popup appears select Send email.

You'll receive an email with the usernames for the accounts using that email address. Simply use the correct username and password combination and try logging in again.
